Remediation of Minor Landslide in Oakland Hills, with alterations and repairs to existing elevated deck structure

Implement corrective measures and alterations due to a minor landslide that occurred during heavy rain storms in 2012, located in the Oakland – Montclair Hills.

Landslide threatened the house on a downhill slope and the existing elevated 45ft wide x 30ft deep deck structure, under-mining 10ft rear extension of deck foundation.

Remediation required a new engineered retaining wall, salvage original deck structure and collect / re-direct perimeter drainage and downspout discharge.
